Make your AI sound like your brand—every time.


🧠 What Are Brand Terms?

Terms is your brand’s dictionary inside the AI Knowledge Base. Use it to guide your team and AI on:

  • Approved words (platform instead of tool)

  • 🚫 Don’t use terms (cutting-edge, leverage)

  • ⚠️ Use carefully phrases (fine with context)

  • Pending entries (need admin approval)

Together with Brand Voice, Style Guide, and Reference Docs, Terms ensures your content sounds on-brand, consistent, and confident.


➕ How To Add a Term

  1. Go to AI Knowledge Base > Terms

  2. Click Add Term

  3. Fill in the word or phrase

  4. Choose a rule:

    • ✅ Approved

    • 🚫 Don’t use

    • ⚠️ Use carefully

    • ⏳ Pending (visible if you're not an admin)

  5. (Optional) Add:

    • A description or usage examples

    • Tags to group and organize

🛑 Pending terms won’t take effect until approved by an admin.


✍️ How To Use Terms While Writing

Frase auto-checks your content using Governance.

  1. Open or start a document

  2. In the upper right corner, click Governance

  3. See real-time feedback for:

    • ❌ Banned terms

    • ✨ Tone and voice issues

    • 📝 Style mismatches

  4. Update your content to stay on brand with ease.

Instant feedback means fewer edits—and more confident content.
